Establishment of hybrid software

Tech talk: mobile application vs web application

In the second decade of the 21st century,  application software was not mere ‘mobile apps”,  stripped functions to serve a limited purpose.

There was a  rise of the hybrid application software’ that incorporated the web application software that dominated the late 90s, Microsoft Office, Gmail, yahoo mail etc.

These Hybrid applications are the cost-effective software applications today running on every platform;  in addition, their live-update feature economises the application development for tech-giant like Twitter and Facebook.

It is the future of application software for the IT industry.

Web application

It was quickly codable, more feasible,  operational on several OS and cost-effective,  but it relied heavily on the internet,  was slow and had security issues.
