There's various items that you can often throw them and discard them, considering that they are biodegradable waste, but those items are actually a non-biodegradable item.

The various items that we consider discard  biodegradable but are biodegradable:

  1. Toffee wrappers: aluminium toffee wrappers non-biodegradable item, they usually do not dissolve in soil as there process metals.
  2. White paper: white paper is a non biodegradable item, paper packets and and white paper notebooks do not dissolve in the soil, and as they are not any further recyclable.
  3. Stayrofoam Cups: The so call paper cups or not made up of paper at all they are made of Stayrofoam, a material waste which does not the world in soil for years.
  4. Metal Can: metal cans to a not biodegradable they don't dissolve in the soil just like the metals derived from earth, just line the manufacturing process The dissolution process also processing lot of waste processing before buying the metal can.
  5.  Cloths: you consider cloth similar to paper that can be burnt,  can be buried, and  It will get dissolved well that's not true  because most of your wardrobe is made of polyester which is which is the non-biodegradable item which may not dissolved even if you buried for million of years.
