So sixteen - Lesson at café
About the story:
So sixteen is a beautiful story of the two lover, which unfold when three students open the diary of their teacher. The story is takes place in 1960s, wherein blissful summer vallies of himachal pradesh is brewing with innocence.
[ Lesson at café ]
Memory flash in his mind of a smile that comes as a response
to the compliment he showers on him on her photo in which he was wearing a
beautiful yellow woolen sweater, which looked fantastic on her when she was
posing in the snow land.
7 am: Rishabh’s mom summons him,” Rishabh Please come
to the kitchen, and have yourself served
delicious meal before it becomes colder.”
Rishabh drowsing gets out of his bed, climbing down the
stairs slowly entering yawning in the kitchen rubbing his eyes as his mother
serves the food, the food delicious and he cannot complain in any damn way, he
has it and moves soon to his college.
8 am: he gets
ready for the college in his room , looking at himself and thinking if the
sweater he was wearing was looking cool, he says to himself,” I hope she will
like me.”
He moves out for college in his scooter and look for some
café in on his way , the streets only had cassettes lined up, hawkers were
selling sweet potatoes and coffee on the
sides on the street, and then turning right to his college , he sees a new
café, which he remembers he was told by sherry, he says,” she loves this cafe,
I hope she loves me.”
9 am: The love only turns more and more deep for her.
Nammit, coming from the back and say hi to Rishabh. Hey dude, but he being too
entangled in his thoughts did not hear him.
Nammit says “What is going on with you dude, you have turned
too dreamy, are you thing lot about that girl….”
Rishabh Says, “Yes , I am sort of, maybe.”
Nammit says,” You are being too stupid. well! I got laid
with Jennifer last night, she was bombshell.”
“What about the girl you were dating, and who is Jennifer,”
Rishabh asks.
Well! will let you
know later.
10 am : The Hindi professor enters the class and ask the people to show the reports you have
prepared.
11 am: Rishabh
utters, “What report is she talking about? “
“ Do not you know, two days ago she asked us to prepare a
report,” replies Nammit, “ well! I got
that done, Jennifer prepared it for me,”
“What about me, I
will fail,” Rishabh says.
Well got her one also, add your name, “
Nammit boasts, “But that wrong, no worries, dude, she is out of town and
might not come back for a week, till then this might be useless piece of paper
”
Thankyou! But who is this girl, she a newbie, in the
town, his father is IPS and freshly
posted here, she is Bengali, and her
father and her mom is catholic, but she
such a devil?” asks Rishabh. What do you mean, you have used her assignment to
up your grades? Are you the one? “
“I am but dude she is more , still do not get you, “ says Nammit.
What is happening there, you guy with the spec stands up,
and get out, a guy sitting right next to Rishabh and Nammit stands up and now
Rishabh gets alert;
“ Well, that was close , “ says Rishabh,” the lecturer is in
bad mood.”
“Well, he is getting fired, ” tells Nammit.
“How do you know, “says Rishabh.
“I just know,” Nammit
laughs
“I can ‘t gets you man sometimes,” says Rishabh, “ You are crazy being.”
11:39 am : the class ends, as the Hindi professor is
called to represent his department, and
is asked to meet college Chancellor, the professor is replaced by a new
professor, the class is asked to revise her subjects.
12 : 00 am: the class ends, everyone disperses in the
recess time and gets to the canteen , Nammit and Rishabh goes towards the canteen when a guy name Rakesh comes to them talking about
a new café that was open near their block, and it was the same café which sherry
goes to .
Rishabh says Nammit, “ sherry told him, that she has been to
café with friends and she loved it.”
Nammit says, “ you should have a look around the café, and check how you can you get her around
with this place.”
What do you mean?
Just get in and I will let you know.
The restaurant was lavish , and the fragrance of coffee can
be sniffed from the corner table, casting a spell on visitors, and drawing in people
with magnitude, students chattering and couples dating; forgetting time, moment,
and space.
The place is usual but what we will do and how will I ask
her out
Oh dude! just check
her favorite meal on the menu, and ask
her out for normal get together”
They both have a cup of coffee and then they move out for
the next lecture.
1 30 am: The
lecture felt amazing and students cannot deny what they had read today; was worthy
of learning given by new lecturer; her name was Promita
Promita was one best teacher who had come from France after completing
her study in history, she was big fan of French architecture and was teaching renaissance
literature here, she had a feminine appeal and slender figure, which was appealing;
Nammit had his jaw dropped for whole lecture.
First time Rishabh, something other than lust in Nammit ,
and do not know why but he felt that he can relate as he has also felt those
emotions before.
6:00 pm: Rishabh looks out of his window and waiting for ger
glimpse or glance; she was amazing and beautiful; there was a dog in her home and
women standing nest to her, and when saw it was Promita.
7:00 pm: Rishabh was having dinner with her mom and dad; and
his dad was busy watchijn cricket math and mom was enjoying dinner; He wanted
some money from his dad for buying assignment folder.
He asks,” Dad can you
give 50 Rs Please?
Okay but why ? His father asks
“Because, I want to
buy assignment folder, “ replies Rishabh
“ His dad was indulged
in the match pops out a 50 Rs note out of
his pocket and says ” take it.”
9:00 pm : He now goes on to goes to the bed thinking, he now has a to get him.
