About the story:
So, sixteen is a beautiful story of the two lovers, which unfold when three students open the diary of their teacher. The story takes place in 1960s; wherein blissful summer valise of Himachal Pradesh is brewing with innocent love of passionate lovers.
SO SIXTEEN PREVIOUS CHAPTERS
So sixteen chapter 5 - Guys meet up
7: 00 am: He runs downstairs, and her maid calls him, to come
have jam and toast for breakfast, he
climbs downstairs and takes the meal her haves it every day but, this time its way different than the other, he had it
without interruption to his fantasy.
8:00 am: Lost to his world for minute or two he realizes, he is late for his collage, and he has given a test today; meanwhile he
steps out of his house, he sees a Namit, who was waving him. He says,” what
a pleasant surprise bro, we met me here
today.”
Rishabh says, “it was lovely seeing you hear.”
Namit says” hop in”. they both ride his scooter and keep humming music.
“I saw sherry yesterday, she was fabulous, singing those beautiful notes of love, oh
man,” Rishabh says,,” Seem you are in love with her.”
"May be," Says Namit,” saw sherry yesterday, she was fabulous, singing those
beautiful notes of love, oh man. “
” Have you been in love with so meone, ” asks Rishabh,” Do I like someone, batch nah!
Although, Pronita is beautiful.”
Rishabh says,”Oh! you like her !”
Namit replies, ”Yes, kind she is beautiful.”
“Okay great!" says Rishabh, "I saw her hanging out with sherry last night, I guess she is her relative."
Well! That is cool!” Rishabh tells, “Well, I wish we can meet
them.”
“Surely, we can— you
are home alone right”, asks Namit.
”Yeah! Mom is coming tomorrow evening, and dad is out for a week!" Replies Rishabh, "So tonight yeah!”
“Okay I will come for a night stay." says Nammit.
"Surely, you are welcomed." exclaims Rishabh.
9:00 am : they park their scooter and wait for madam Pronita to pass by Namit was getting informed about her all the
time and had known she comes at this
parking everyday , to park the scooter her father gifted.
They wait for the scooter to arrive but she can’t be
spotted, since they both were getting
late leave the place and get into the class, the class was of no one , but miss Pronita who was dressed in he orange
saree, she looked beautiful in her outfit and her figure just smitten him.
Pronita says,” you are late please move out of the class.”
Rishabh and Namit stay out of the class, looking at the
people showing up hear and there, they saw people bunking lectures and going to
a Same café they both planned to date
sherry.
Rishabh says, “ we shall see the café once again.“ but Namit
has frozen in the front of the class door waiting for the Pronita to show up.
10: 00 am : the first
class is over and Pronita leaves in front of the Namit and Namit is too smitten
to look to speak a word Infront of her,
and see her leaves far , far, and finally disappearing in the crowded corridor.
Rishabh is awe seeing Namit
petrified out of admiration,
he watches him with dilated eyes
which also cannot help themselves to squint in suspicion,” you are in love
bro,” says Rishabh, “ You are madly in love with Pronita.”
“No, I am not, she is just beautiful women , he says with
his cheeks being flushed red, on which
squinting eyes of the Rishabh
seem police over. “
10:05 pm : Next tutor comes and Namit trips on history
professor, who gets angry on Namit and send him to the principal’s office, and
ask rest of the students to get In, and listen to his last lecture in their
university. He carries n with lecture, boasting about himself in the mid and
leaves them all with a heartfelt goodbye,
11: 00 pm: the second lecture is taken by Pronita, who
delivers the geography lecture and illustrates them about the volcano and
volcanic eruptions in Madagascar; moment and time she was explaining a new
teacher comes into the class to talk to her for a while, Rishabh occupying
bench nearer to front bench eavesdrop on conversation between the two, and the
students who talk about a guy in principal office has done something snitchy
and first floor corridor has been on an uproar. Automatically, Rishabh remembers
that Namit was there the whole time and he must have done something.
12 : 00 pm: Rishabh runs to the principal’s office and soon
goes to see Namit who was troubled by the principal’s assistant; she yelled, “
you have made a mess, principal just wants you rusticated then and there. You
have been offensive with him.”
Rishabh intervenes,” you are really mistaken for sure; she
has not made any mess out the situation, surely.”
Assistant says,” you friend is a pervert, he has offended
the principal madam as well.”
Rishabh looks at the Namit and says “ he is a good man,
there must be a misunderstanding.”
Namit yells at the assistant, “ You are being mad at me for
no reason.”
Rishabh says, “ what did you said to her, I hope you didn’t
try on her she is nearly 50”
“No dude, I did not
but she is Jennifer’s aunt,” Namit says, “ she saw me skipping the walls of her
house, and she went mad at me for silly mistake.“
“How can you be so
sure see saw you,” says Rishabh.
“Jennifer told me
that, her aunt has sixth sense,” Nammit
responds, “Namit replies she might have
understood somehow.”
“So, what about you going to expelled from college,” says
Rishabh.
“ No, I don’t think so, “replies Nammit, “Just be detained
with history lecturer ”
“Can ‘t be , the history professor was going to leave today,
“ says Rishabh,” he had his last class-he kept boasting about his new
college and students.”
“Principal paid him extra cash to attend detainees for few
days,” tells Namit, ”He agreed because his joining was a week later.”
“So now, you can come
and join us in the lecture, right?” asks Rishabh.
“No, I must wait for the lecturer and principal, “says
Nammit, ” by the way you have almost missed a class, and should leave for a
next two lectures soon.”
“Yeah, I should dude,” says Rishabh, “see you after college.”
“I will be in the parking, “says Nammit .
1:00 PM : English lecture begins and students start
writing and scribbling in the pages,
lecture is good and interesting; the study of post-colonialism and the acts laid by them made it feel like
law, but the storytelling was just lovely and they all had fun time reading and listening to stories , the lecturer was new and said, “
hey class, I am going to also take your
history class from now, the lecturer was amazing and all I can think of Pronita
lecture coming next, and Rishabh thinks how can I put better impression ,
and to have more positive impression on
mind of sherry.
He thinks about sherry again and lose herself in her
fantasies, dreaming about his date in the café, how it will be when he will
order south Indian coffee and toast for her, how would she look at him like an
amazing date, but will it be amazing date.
2: 00 pm: the last and lengthy lecture, which was of
Pronita was one of best lecture for him , as it was an opportunity for him to
introduce himself as a capable man to Sherry’s aunt.
2: 10 pm : they all begin with the class, the class
that was amazing and awesome , they were still studying volcanic eruption, and
this time they were on Java Island flora and fauna; the island has bizarre tree and shrubs— the
island was a weird paradise.
It was amazing read, which gets him lost in his fantasies to see Sherry play Pronita was amazing and
sophisticated just like sherry, it was pleasure to watch them talk and see them
play together. P
3:00 pm : The
teacher was delivering lessons of American civil war, which were being well received by the students except, Rishabh.
Who was still in the fantasies of the women he was in love with? He can not hear any word of the
lesson and seem to be deaf to even the person next to him. The lesson goes
on and on and he keeps dreaming till a
chapter was over.
4:00 pm : Rishabh comes out his fantasies when a
student fells in front of him and a fight break in the lecture halls. He dodges
the bustle in the room and moves through the corridor, eavesdrop people talking
about the fights breaking in the college often; and college relentless effort to
curb the damage to property.
5:00 pm: Rishabh and Nammit meets in the parking waiting for Pronita to show up with her scooter, who seems to have disappeared before they came in. they wait for an hour and eavesdrop conversation of the people talking about her early departure from the parking owing to dismissal of a relative.
5:30 pm: They both leave from the college, meanwhile
driving Nammit suggests,” let us go to your home, and see what sherry is doing
, we can decide what to do, while
playing in your tennis court; yeah, that will be better idea , and will
be able to decide what to do.
6:00 pm: The
moment he enters the court, they both see sherry who is accompanied by his maid
standing on the parapet besides her; both watch them playing and smile in a
friendly fashion, to make greet them.
Soon, they both start talking and looking at both the boy’s
playing badminton, and Nammit signals him to play the match, they play hard, equaling
each other with and the great tussle becomes
suspenseful entertainment for the ladies ; they are hooked seeing them smashing a hit one by one, soon Namit sees
Shelly’s maid, going down for some work urgently; Namit sees an opportunity
and intentionally loses last one shot,
to help his friend impress his beloved.
Nammit comes and shakes hand with Rishabh and says,” man you
were amazing “
7:00 pm: Rishabh does not get his behavior but shakes
hand with him; he turns around to move towards the locker room, and notice shelly glancing and smiling at her.
He blushes and turns
stills like a walking statue; he gets lost in her eyes dreaming of the future
he wants to spend with her. Nammit moves asking him to come his daydreams and
asks him,” is dinner ready dude? I am
hungry.”
Rishabh asks his cook to prepare dinner for them.
“I saw her when she was
looking at you, “ Nammit says, “ guess feeling is mutual; you must get
to know her more, she might not mind to date you, if you ask her sooner”
“How will I meet her? “, Rishabh
asks .
“Well, you can I heard of about her relative early dismissal,
your mother will be invited for sure “ Nammit says, “You can go to him at a
personal level, and get to know her if you can meet.”
8:00 pm: They both have a cup of milk and look out
the window and watch Pronita and Sherry talking to each other.
Rishabh says,” I will talk about Pronita too, if you want.”
Nimit says, “Well, let’s see.”
